These leaves, shaped by hand in the ancient tradition, have a tight shape reminiscent of pine needles and are covered with a fine silvery down, rich in selenium.
The steam cooking process, rediscovered in 1998, gives these leaves a particular elasticity, resulting in the sweetness of their aromas. In addition to being 100% organic, Enshi Yulu tea allows cold infusions, thus preserving its nutritional properties such as vitamins, phosphorus, potassium and trace elements. Its counterpart, Enshi Gyokuro, stands out for its rich selenium content, providing antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits.
The name "Yu Lu" meaning "Jade Dew", this tea is prepared using an ancient steam cooking method, rare in China, but which dates back to the origins of green tea in Japan.
