Collection: Wulong
Oolong tea (乌龙茶), also called Wulong or Wu Long, is a traditional Chinese tea with unique flavors. Its name literally means "black dragon." Also known as blue tea or blue-green tea, it is renowned for its perfect balance between freshness and aromatic depth.
Oolong teas belong to the largest and most extensive family of teas. They lie somewhere between green tea (unoxidized) and black tea (fully oxidized), giving them a rich and complex palette of flavors: floral, fruity, woody, and sometimes roasted notes, with a beautiful roundness on the palate.
Oolong tea has been cultivated for centuries in the mountains of Fujian, China, as well as in Taiwan, two regions renowned for their fine teas. It is in these high-altitude terroirs that the excellence of our Tie Guanyin is born.
According to an ancient Chinese legend, a tea grower saw a black dragon appear among his tea bushes. Soon after, he discovered that the leaves of these shrubs produced a tea of exceptional aromatic richness, and Oolong was born.
For several years, I have forged close relationships with local tea masters. Thanks to this relationship of trust, I personally select rare artisanal Oolongs, produced in accordance with ancestral traditions.
