Properties: The Mao Yan Mei plant is known for its natural richness in flavonoids, amino acids, trace elements, plant proteins, and vitamins. It is theine and caffeine-free, making it suitable for drinking at any time of day.
Used for centuries in the Hunan mountains, it is prized for its mildness, lingering sweet flavor, and compatibility with a balanced diet.
Dosage: 3 to 4 grams per infusion, up to 3 to 4 infusions possible with the same filaments. Its flavor is naturally intense, you can adjust the quantity according to your preferences.
Preparation: Mao Yan Mei filaments are of exceptional purity and do not require rinsing.
Use water at 100°C and make quick infusions:

1st infusion: 3 seconds

2nd: 6 seconds

3rd: 9 seconds

Then 12, 15 seconds and beyond depending on the desired intensity
Tasting tip: Alternating with a sip of fresh water between two cups helps accentuate the perception of sweet flavors. This plant is distinguished by its subtle and surprising aromas.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Best used while the filaments remain bright white. Store in the original bottle to maintain quality.

Family: Vitaceae.
This plant grows wild between 800 and 1,500 meters above sea level in the pristine Zhangjiajie Mountains in the heart of China. Harvested traditionally by local Tujia communities, it is cultivated without chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
