Lapsang Souchong - Pure Hand-Made Export and Early Smoked - Light Red Wood Smoke Flavor (Zhenshan Xiaozhong)
An ancient treasure, handcrafted in the purest tradition of the Wuyi Mountains, reserved for export in the 1990s and then carefully preserved in Guangdong.
This authentic version of Zheng Shan Xiaozhong, wood-smoked and unflavored, offers an experience deeply rooted in the history of Chinese tea.
Origin: Wuyi, Fujian, China
Type: Smoked Black Tea (Zheng Shan Xiaozhong, 正山小种) (Red Tea)
Harvest: 1990s
Method: Completely handcrafted, traditional pinewood smoking, slow fermentation.
Storage: Over 30 years, naturally humid storage in Guangdong Province, China.
Appearance and Infusion: The liquor is extremely clear, with deep mahogany red highlights. Its hue ranges from dark ruby to warm copper, with a beautiful sheen.
A dense, luminous color, a testament to the quality of the raw material and the tea's controlled maturation over time.
Aromas and Taste: This tea is distinguished by a noble, dry, and perfectly integrated smoke, without overpowering or artificial notes.
Upon opening, aromas of old wood, dry resin, black plum, and leather emerge.
The attack is full and round, and the palate reveals lingering notes of bitter cocoa, licorice, and burnt bark.
A remarkable balance between intensity and sweetness, which lingers long on the retro-olfaction.
Properties: Warming tea, perfect after meals
Rich in ripe tannins and antioxidants
Aids digestion
Promotes calm and concentration
Conditioning: 100g in an airtight container.

Also suitable for a long infusion using the Western method (5 to 6 minutes)
Texture and tone: Woody, dry, and warm, with hints of the deep forest
Dense, silky, and enveloping texture
Lingering finish with fragrant notes of spruce, old wood, and smoky vanilla.
A rare and masterful vintage Lapsang Souchong, revealing the finesse of ancient craftsmanship and the elegance of time. To be savored slowly.
